JOB SUBTITLE: Senior Reimbursement Analyst

Seeking highly motivated, qualified individuals to join growing company in the greater Seattle area.  We seek detail-oriented critical thinkers with excellent analytical skills, personal integrity, and devotion to customers. 

DESCRIPTION:
The primary function of the Senior Reimbursement Analyst is to perform insurance reimbursement, statistical, and financial analysis for physician groups and healthcare facilities.  Key activities include data configuration and evaluation, modeling reimbursement methodologies to support contract negotiations, and development of utilization and financial reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Understanding of government and private payor reimbursement methodologies
• Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field
• Knowledge of computer systems and programs including command of Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• 2-3 years of experience in the health insurance industry or healthcare provider setting
• Experience with financial modeling and evaluation of payor contracts
• Experience with Excel Visual Basic and Access
